A Few Quick Tips

  • Understand the weather for your day on the water and how it will affect both safety and fishing conditions. The fishing community loses anglers every year to weather — know your craft's limits and always wear a life preserver.

  • Limit the lures you bring for the day. Success is about placing the right category of lure in front of feeding fish, not about which specific lure you choose.

  • Build a list of bait categories suited to your trip and stick to them. Keep it simple.

  • Hunt the best structure during the right time of year, with current in the area, and apply the "reading the water" techniques from our videos.

  • Don't linger too long in areas with no activity or signs. Move aggressively to the next structure until you locate fish.

  • Stay in touch with us and ask questions often — we are here for you!
